Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of 406founder.com (the "Site") and The 406 email newsletter (together, the "Service"), operated by 406 Founder ("406Founder," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, to use the Service.

The Service

The Service provides content about building and running businesses, including essays, frameworks, playbooks, photos, and video, plus a free weekly email. We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

The 406 Newsletter

Subscribing is free. By subscribing you consent to receive recurring email from us. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting matt@406founder.com. We may decline, suspend, or remove subscriptions at our discretion, for example to prevent abuse.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its content, including text, graphics, logos, photos, and video, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the content. You may share links and brief excerpts with attribution. You may not republish, resell, scrape, or use the content to train machine learning models without our prior written permission.

Acceptable Use

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
